How a scam usually starts

Almost every story starts the same way. A link suddenly shows up: in a Facebook ad, a Telegram group, or someone's inbox message. It says "official link", "special bonus" or "last chance today". When you open it, you see a page that looks just like the lobby. The new player trusts it and types in their number and password, or sends money. After that, nothing comes back.

Let's learn from an imaginary example

Imagine a man named Rahim who is looking for an online lobby for the first time. On Facebook he sees a post: "Official link, register today and get a special gift." He opens the link and the page looks quite professional. He enters his number, an OTP arrives, and the page says: "Send this code to our agent on WhatsApp for verification." Rahim sends it. 7 warning signs to watch for

  1. Strange spelling in the address: one letter changed, an extra number or dash, yet it calls itself "official".
  2. Pressure to hurry: lines like "Deposit within 10 minutes or the offer ends" that take away your time to think.
  3. Asking for money to a personal number: someone gives their own bKash or Nagad number and says "Send it here, I'll add it to your account".
  4. Asking for your OTP or PIN: "I'm admin/support, tell me the code so I can verify your account." Real support never asks for this.
  5. Unbelievable promises: "guaranteed win", "fixed match", "hacked slot". No game can guarantee a win.
  6. Apps from unknown places: being told to download an APK from any link other than the lobby button.
  7. A fee to "release" your withdrawal: "Your money is stuck. Pay a little first, then we'll release it."

Fake agents: a trap worth its own warning

Beginners often think finding an "agent" will make things easier. In reality, the only reliable place to deposit and withdraw is the lobby cashier.
