7U777 cricket: what you see the first time you open a match page

You may have watched cricket since childhood, but the first time you open the lobby's cricket page, lots of numbers and tabs appear at once. There's nothing to worry about. In this lesson we split the page into small parts. Remember from the start: this is an unofficial guide site. Match markets and odds exist only in the official lobby.

For new players: the parts of the cricket page

• Match list: upcoming and running matches sit in separate tabs. Running matches usually show a "Live" label.
• Team names and numbers: the number beside each team is the odds. It changes over time.
• Market tabs: tap a match and you'll see separate questions, called markets, inside it.
• Bet slip: tap any odds and a small box opens at the bottom or side. You type an amount there and confirm.

Common markets in plain words

• Match winner: which team will win the match.
• Toss: which team will win the toss. The result is known before play starts.
• Run line / total: whether runs will be over or under a set number.
• Player performance: questions about one player's runs or wickets, when the lobby has them open.

On day one, don't try to learn every market. Knowing how match winner and toss are shown is enough.

What changes during a live match

While a match is running, odds can change after almost every ball. Sometimes a market closes for a short while. On a slow network you might tap an old number, so check the amount and odds in the bet slip again before confirming. If the slip shows a message like "odds changed", don't rush; read it again.

Knowing cricket doesn't mean winning

However much you know about teams, pitches or weather, nobody can be sure of a result in advance. Avoid people selling "fixed matches" or "sure tips", and never send money to a personal "agent" wallet. Set a budget before you play: responsible play.
